Hi, I’m Evan. 👋 During my 6 months as Chief of Staff, Strategy at EliseAI (Vertical AI unicorn!), I’ve interviewed 250+ candidates for my team’s BizOps roles and taken dozens of coffee chats with people looking to break into AI. One thing is clear: there’s massive demand for high-impact roles at AI startups, and very few high-signal places to find them.

That’s why I started AI Operators. Every week (or two), I’ll curate and share standout operations and strategy roles at some of the most compelling AI-native startups, from early-stage teams building from zero to companies scaling past Series D. Whether you're already in the tech ecosystem or looking for a way in, this newsletter will help you spot the right opportunities faster.

My goal is for AI Operators to be the most high-signal resource for finding BizOps/Chief of Staff jobs at top AI startups. I’ll generally (with a few exceptions) only post roles that are:

1. “Top” startups (either by traction, founder, or raised from at least “tier 2” VCs)

2. AI-native (eg. avoiding legacy SaaS, consumer goods, etc.)

3. Private companies (no public tech co’s)
